Typical Sicilian house situated in Mangano, a small village at the foot of the ETNA volcano, halfway between Catania and Taormina. Mangano is a district of Acireale, baroque town know for its carnival, the baroque churches and buildings. The house is situated on a hill, so in summer you can always enjoy fresh delightful temperatures at night even if it was hot by the day. Winter is never too cold. The position of the house allows to reach both the sea and the mountain in a short time.
The statal road ss114 is really close and leads you in few minutes to al the main attractions.
The small village is perfect for the lovers of the quiet countryside, where you can live far from the big cities without being isolated.

The house has two entrances, one on the main lounge and one on the garden.
It spreads out on two floors; on the ground floor you find a wide kitchen living room + a large lounge, bathroom, laundry with access to the cellar.
In the lounge there is a wide staircase that leads to the upper floor where you find 4 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower. All the rooms overlook a terrace with view on the Etna.
The interior garden hosts a closed patio for Witner and an opened one for Summer period. In the middle of the garden you find the pool with view on the Etna.
The garden includes two small independent apartments perfect for the guests, comprising kitchen-living room, bedroom and bathroom.
The house is suitable also as holiday home.

The Eastern coast of Sicily goes from Siracusa to Messina, from lava stones to sand. Furthermore it takes only 15 minutes by highway to reach Catania and the same for Taormina. If you love the mountain, Etna offers ski slopes in Winter and beautiful strolls in the park in Summer. The beaches of Praiola are only 2 km far.
The rooms include hot/cold heat pumps, while the kitchen has a fireplace. In the patio you find a wooden stove and an oven where you can bake bread.
Our area is rich in excellent restaurants and shopping centres, supermarkets, hospitals, schools; they can all be reached in few minutes. The area is well-served by public transport and the train station is 1 km away.
